Milano Welcome Center is the city service hub for migrants and refugees: an open, free, and inclusive space designed to support life in the city on issues such as international protection, the local and national reception system, entry visas, citizenship, residence permits, family reunification, learning the Italian language, guidance for education and employment, access to local services and civic projects, and assisted voluntary return.
The visual identity and customization of the new physical spaces have been developed through participatory processes and co-design, making them the collective achievement of the community that inhabits and experiences them every day.
